These Terms of Use govern your use of the Cairn website and related public-facing interfaces.

By accessing or using the website, you acknowledge that you have read these Terms and agree to use the site consistently with them and with applicable law.

These Terms govern website use only unless a separate written agreement is entered into for a specific client project. A project agreement may contain additional terms that control the actual engagement and deliverables.

The Cairn website is intended primarily for business, professional, organizational, and technical purposes.

By submitting information on behalf of a company, organization, or other entity, you represent that you are authorized to provide that information and communicate regarding the relevant request.

Nothing on the website authorizes a person to access a system, account, infrastructure environment, dataset, or other resource that they are not otherwise authorized to access.

You may use the website for legitimate purposes, including reviewing Cairn's services, learning about the business, contacting Cairn, and considering or requesting technical work.

The Cairn website presents examples of technical services that Cairn may provide, including infrastructure work, integrations, automation, data workflows, and other defined technical projects.

Service descriptions are intended to explain the general nature of the work and are not a promise that every listed service is suitable for every business, environment, system, or project.

Cairn may modify, add, remove, rename, or discontinue services or service descriptions without preserving every historical version of the website.

Submitting a service request, contact form, personalized-service request, or similar inquiry does not by itself create a binding client engagement.

Cairn may decline, postpone, clarify, or otherwise respond to a request before any project is accepted.

Cairn's website may display fixed project prices or "from" prices. A displayed starting price is an indication of the expected entry point for a particular type of work and is not necessarily the final price for a specific environment.

Actual project pricing may depend on scope, system complexity, dependencies, access requirements, volume, third-party systems, technical risk, timeline, and other project factors.

Where a written project proposal, statement of work, order, invoice, or other project agreement establishes a specific price and scope, that project-specific document controls the relevant engagement.

Cairn may communicate with you regarding an inquiry or project using the contact method selected or provided through the website.

This can include work email, telephone or mobile communication, or another method specifically agreed upon for the relevant interaction.

By providing contact information for a specific business request, you authorize Cairn to use that information to respond to the request and handle related business communications.

Information submitted through a public Cairn form should be relevant to the business or technical request being made.

When technical access or credentials are actually required for an agreed project, Cairn and the client should use an appropriate secure method rather than placing secrets in a public website form.

Unless otherwise stated, the Cairn website, its branding, logos, visual design, written content, graphics, layout, original diagrams, and other original site materials are owned by or used by Cairn under appropriate rights.

You may view and use the website for normal informational and business purposes. You may not reproduce, republish, redistribute, commercially exploit, or substantially copy Cairn's original website materials without appropriate authorization.

Client systems, client data, client trademarks, client-provided materials, and other assets owned by a client remain subject to their respective ownership rights. A specific project agreement may define ownership or licensing of code, documentation, configurations, deliverables, or other project materials.

The Cairn website or a Cairn project may interact with third-party infrastructure, platforms, APIs, hosting providers, communication services, software vendors, cloud providers, or other external systems.

Cairn does not control the availability, security, policies, pricing, functionality, or continued operation of independent third-party services.

Website content is provided for general informational purposes. Although Cairn attempts to keep service descriptions and other published information useful and accurate, the website may contain errors, omissions, outdated information, or material that does not apply to a particular project.

Website content does not constitute legal, accounting, financial, tax, security, regulatory, or other professional advice unless a separate agreement expressly provides for a specific professional service.

No website description guarantees a particular technical, operational, financial, security, performance, or business outcome.

Any service commitment that actually applies to a client engagement should be determined from the relevant written project terms.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Cairn is not responsible for losses arising solely from ordinary website use, temporary website unavailability, third-party service interruptions, information supplied by users, or circumstances outside Cairn's reasonable control.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or limit liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

Where a separate client agreement establishes specific warranties, remedies, limitations, or allocations of risk for a project, those provisions may govern the relevant engagement.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to be responsible for claims, losses, liabilities, or reasonable expenses arising from your unlawful use of the website, your violation of these Terms, or your unauthorized use of systems, content, or information in connection with the website.

This section does not require you to indemnify Cairn for matters that applicable law does not permit to be shifted to you.

Any project-specific indemnification or risk allocation may be governed by the separate written agreement applicable to that project.

Cairn may update these Terms when the website, business practices, services, technology, or applicable legal requirements change.

The "Last Updated" date at the top of the page may be revised whenever the Terms are materially updated.

Continued use of the website after a revised version is published constitutes continued use of the website under the updated Terms, subject to applicable law.
